Being involved means to:

Ü highlight issues that you think need more attention

Ü help to influence people who make decisions about new or existing health and social care services

Ü join forces with other with similar concerns

Ü hold service commissioners and providers to account on behalf of local people

Ü help the community to have a stronger voice

It is up to you how you wish to participate. You are free to just comment on issues when contacted by the LINk, or you can get more involved by being a part of a task group or participating in outreach activities to meet service users. The LINk will provide different ways for people to express their views and to have their say.
